The relevant decree was adopted at a cabinet meeting on July 27 and was published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Previously, the prime minister's salary was raised by 25% in December 2015 to UAH 8,300. The president's salary was then 140% of the prime minister's salary. This document cancels the decree which links the president's and the prime minister's salaries.

Accordingly, the head of the presidential administration will receive UAH 18,000, the first vice-prime minister – UAH 18,000, the vice-prime ministers – UAH 17,000, and the ministers – UAH 16,000.
The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine will receive UAH 18,000 and the head of the Antimonopoly Committee will receive UAH 13,300.
"The decision comes into force from the date of its publication and is applicable from May 1, 2016," the report says.
