Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk plans to announce about the democratic coalition breakup at the parliamentary session on Tuesday.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this at a session of the Conciliatory Council of parliamentary factions and committees on Monday.

According to him, as of 11.00 a.m. of Monday, he did not receive any statement recalling the previous statement of Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense concerning the breakup of the coalition.

“Thus, in line with article 65 of the Verkhovna Rada Temporary Regulations, an official procedure of bidding farewell to the coalition will take place. Those willing are welcome with flowers and wreaths at 10 a.m.”, the Verkhovna Rada Speaker claimed.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on September 2, BYuT lawmakers together with MPs of the Party of Regions and CPU adopted draft laws restricting the President’s authority and did not vote for the OU-PSD resolution on Georgia. The Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense Bloc called these actions a treason and made decision to quit the coalition on September 3.

The 10-day period stipulated by the law for resuming a coalition expires on September 13.
