Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claims that the political crisis in Ukraine has suspended talks with Russia on natural gas supplies.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk in Kyiv today.
“Natural gas supplies to Ukraine have always been closely connected with politics. There is no secret for anybody. Of course, when there is an uncertain situation in parliament, with the coalition, all talks have slowed down a little”, Yulia Tymoshenko said.
At the same time, the Prime Minister is confident that the talks with Russian on natural gas supplies to Ukraine will be harmonious, constructive, and will take into account interests of both Ukraine and Russia.
