“MPs have to wait for their turn to make a phone call..."

Some lawmakers from the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko faction have problems with the access to the international telephone line.

BYuT MPs Valeriy Pysarenko and Andriy Shkil, and Party of Regions MP Taras Chornovil, claimed this to Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper of Sept 26.

According to the information of the newspaper, T.Chornovil was the first to inform about problems with the access to international lines.

In his turn, A.Shkil disclosed to daily that the Verkhovna Rada machinery did not provide sufficient financing for international telephone calls of lawmakers. “Lawmakers have to wait for their turn to make a phone call”, V.Pysarenko said.

The BYuT MPs blame President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko for the situation. According to V.Pysarenko, the problems with communication appeared “when the coalition collapsed”. However, A.Shkil said that such problems with financing appear at the end of every financial year.
