Yushchenko hopes talks on forming coalition to yield result
In the nearest future
President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko believes that the developments, which took place in the Verkhovna Rada on September 2, indicated that the national priorities became minor for several political forces in parliament. The President also expects that the process of talks on forming the coalition will yield result in the nearest future.
According to the President`s press-office, Victor Yushchenko said this at a meeting with Oblast governors on Friday.
The President stressed that he does not trust to canceling the anti-constitutional laws, for which BYuT voted with the Party of Regions on September 2. He also cast doubt upon the efficienecy of talks on forming the coalition between BYuT and the Party of Regions. “It is impossible to find understanding in such a coalition not only because of ideology, but also because every side wants to occupy the Prime Minister’s chair. Fortunately, there is only one”, the President said.
