Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claims that President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and the Party of Regions are in collusion to hold a snap parliamentary poll.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this to a press conference in the Cabinet of Ministers today.
“Today both Victor Yushchenko and the Party of Regions, and, in particular, R.Akhmetov, have a clear collusion to take part in a snap poll. They arranged things, and any other configurations but to resume the democratic coalition may be considered”, she said.
The Prime Minister stressed that BYuT did not and is not carrying out any talks on forming coalition with the Party of Regions.
“The Party of Regions was in an absolute collusion with the Presidential Secretariat, in order to dissolve the democratic coalition and to run for a snap poll. The Party of Regions waited until the President destroyed the democratic coalition, and made decision to take part in an early election without any hesitation”.
