A 30 minutes interval has been announced in the Verkhovna Rada plenary session.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the interval was announced after the draft law on introducing amendments into the law on elections was put on parliament’s agenda. The author of the law is Party of Regions MP Olena Lukash.

228 out of 432 members of parliament voted for this decision.

Immediately after the voting, BYuT faction members blockaded the tribune and presidium of parliament.

Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk joked that now it’s clear that parliament is working normaly because “we resumed former working format”.

After that, he announced an interval for 30 minutes.
