The majority of Ukrainians are ready to vote at the snap parliamentary election.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, these are the results of a sociological poll carried out by the National Institute of Strategic Researches. Institute director Yuri Ruban presented results of the poll at a news conference in UNIAN Tuesday.

Particularly, according to results of the poll, some 31.9% of Ukrainian citizens are ready to take part in voting at the snap poll, and some 30.1% of citizens will probably vote.

At the same time, some 13.9% of citizens will not vote, some 12.9% of citizens will probably not vote, and some 11.2% have not decided as yet whether they will take part in the voting.

Yu.Ruban expressed a belief that these data give grounds to speak that the snap poll will take place. “It is a normal result – some 31.9% and 30.1%, which allow forecasting a normal turnout of voters”, he pointed out.

The poll was carried on October 11-15, 2008. 2013 respondents aged over 18 years old were polled in all Oblasts of Ukraine, Crimea AR and Kyiv. The error margin makes up 2.3%.
