President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko stresses that the country needs an able-to-work parliament.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the President claimed this during opening a consultative-diagnostic polyclinic in Zhytomyr.

“The country will have a future only if it has an able-to-work parliament”, Victor Yushchenko said. He noted: “Our task is to see the parliament working”.

Victor Yushchenko noted that Ukraine is a democratic nation. According to him, “nobody will deploy tanks or internal troops”. Politicians had enough time to agree, but they failed to use that opportunity, and the President has a right to announce a snap poll, Victor Yushchenko said.
