A branch of large bank was robbed in Kyiv in the broad daylight on Wednesday. The crime was committed in the very center of the Ukrainian capital – in Volodymyrska Str.. The robber was alone. He rushed into the branch, threatened the cashier with a gun, and seized money.
According to Segodnya daily, referring to police investigators, by preliminary information, he stole nearly 80 thousand hryvnias [~US $11 thousand].
A police dog came upon the offender’s tracks, but lost it near the highway. Probably, an accomplice was waiting for the offender in a car.
The offender did not even put any mask on his face. A sign on the branch’s door informed that a video-supervision was carried out in the bank, but actually there were no cameras in the premise.
