Ukraine to gain control over border only "at end of process" – Merkel
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said that Ukraine should gain control over its border "at the end of the process," Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrainska Pravda reported.
Speaking at a news briefing after the talks in Berlin, Merkel said that Ukraine would gain ultimate control over its border only at the end of the process, and before that the parties agreed that the OSCE observers could move freely up to the boundary. Sometimes it is possible, sometimes it is problematic, and the Russian president noted this.
