Yatseniuk removed from chairing plenary sessions of Verkhovna Rada
He left the chamber of parliament immediately after the voting
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has removed Arseniy Yatseniuk from chairing plenary sessions.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, 231 lawmakers out of 440 registered in the session hall voted for this decision.
In particular, the move was supported by 175 Mps of the Party of Regions faction, 1- from BYuT, 8 – from Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense, 27 – from CPU, and 20 – from Lytvyn’s Bloc.
The respective resolution was submitted for consideration of parliament by the factions of the Party of Regions, Lytvyn’s Bloc, and Communist Party.
Arseniy Yatseniuk was removed from chairing plenary sessions for two days. Arseniy Yatseniuk left the chamber of parliament immediately after the voting.
