President brings in draft-law on fighting smuggling

Based on NSDC decision President Victor Yushchenko has inked the Decree on fighting smuggling and customs regulations violation, according to the President`s press-office.

Also President brought before the Parliament a draft-law on alteration of some legislative acts on fighting corruption and customs regulations toughening responsibility for crimes in the field and expanding authority of customs bodies.

President marked the draft-law as urgent.
