"We have implemented 144 reforms approved by the Special Assessment Mission of the EU. That is why we must accelerate the provision of the visa-free regime for Ukrainians," Petro Poroshenko said at the press conference in Stockholm in the course of the official visit to Sweden, reads the report.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to Swedish partners for a strong support of this position.

According to the President, Ukraine needs the decision of the European Parliament on that issue. The Head of State added that the leadership of the largest groups of the European Parliament had clearly supported the visa-free regime. “Today, it is necessary to find a formula that will allow us to demonstrate progress. I am really hopeful that it will happen before the Ukraine-EU Summit. We still have this hope and I will do everything possible to ensure that,” Petro Poroshenko noted.
