The today’s plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has closed. The regular session will take place on Thursday, November 20.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, MPs voted for resolution “On Introducing Amendments into Work Schedule of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine”. 300 out of 442 MPs, registered in session hall, voted for this. The faction of the Communist Party of Ukraine did not take part in the voting. Besides, the resolution was supported only by 4 MPs of the OU-PSD faction.
In line with the resolution, on Tuesday and Wednesday MPs will work in committees, and will gather for a regular plenary session at 10.00 a.m. on Thursday.
Top deputy Speaker Oleksander Lavrynovych informed that the government had submitted for parliament’s consideration four draft anti-crisis legislations, saying nothing of alternative draft legislations prepared by MPs. According to him, it would be more reasonable to work in committees and focus on the draft anti-crisis legislations.
