A break till 16.00 was announced in the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, 230 out of 442 lawmakers registered in the session hall voted for this decision, particularly, 3 lawmakers from the Party of Regions, 154 lawmakers from the BYUT, 26 lawmakers from the Our Ukraine-People’s Self Defense, 27 lawmakers from the CPU, and 20 lawmakers from the Lytvyn’s Bloc.
First deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Lavrynovych noted that the factions voted for the break in order to finish consultations on forming a coalition and electing a Speaker.
According to his words, there were two proposals concerning the break. The BYUT faction and the Lytvyn’s Bloc faction proposed to announce the break till 16.00 pm and factions of the OU-PSD and the Party of Regions proposed the break till 10.00 am of tomorrow. But lawmakers supported the proposal of the BYUT and the Lytvyn’s Bloc.
