President praises election of the Verkhovna Rada Speaker

President Victor Yushchenko congratulated Volodymyr Lytvyn on his election as the Verkhovna Rada Speaker, the President`s press-office reports.

He also congratulated the whole Parliament on adopting the decision and urged the deputies to proceed to discussion and adoption of anti-crisis draft laws and draft State Budget 2009.

Victor Yushchenko wished Volodymyr Lytvyn success in extremely hard and important work.
