President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko is categorically opposed to forming the coalition of OU-PSD, BYuT, and the Lytvyn’s Bloc.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, OU-PSD faction lawmaker Anatoliy Hrytsenko claimed this to journalists on Monday, speaking about results of the meeting of President with a part of OU-PSD faction.

According to him, the President spoke categorically against the “coalition of three’, instead of that he supported the idea of forming a situational majority in parliament for passing these or that laws.

“But he did not persuade everybody”, A.Hrytsenko said.

Besides, according to him, the President made it clear for lawmakers that he is opposed to idea of a snap parliamentary poll.

In her turn, another OU-PSD lawmaker Ksenia Lyapina, speaking about the meeting, noted that the President does not see any perspective of overcoming the economic crisis consequences by means of forming the coalition of OU-PSD, BYuT, and the Lytvyn’s Bloc.

According to her, Victor Yushchenko spoke for carrying out a king of roundtable with involving all political forces to work out steps to overcome the economic crisis consequences without populism.

“The issue of coalition is the issue #335, it’s not pressing at present. There is nothing to say”, K.Lyapina said, stressing: “Today there is no confidence that the Tymoshenko’s government will fulfill provisions of the coalition agreement”.
