Including a snap poll

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn claims he will not allow destabilizing the work of parliament.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this to journalists after the Conciliatory Council session on Monday.

He said: “I will never allow destabilizing the work of the Verkhovna Rada and introduce another challenge – a snap poll in the Ukrainian society”.

According to V.Lytvyn, today the Verkhovna Rada works, and all the rest is “up to political tastes, political sympathies, and political plans”.

V.Lytvyn noted that at present some political forces do not understand their responsibility to society, calling on “to riots, to destroying the Verkhovna Rada”. “Because as soon as the Verkhovna Rada starts working normally, somebody loses his sleep. Let them better go have a rest and not hamper the Verkhovna Rada”, he said.
