Yushchenko stresses importance of working parliament

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko stresses the importance of working parliament.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this speaking at a session devoted to solving the problem of debts on salaries and critical state of national target programs fulfillment.

“A working parliament is extremely important for Ukraine. The fact that the parliament elected a Speaker and started to work over anti-crisis and budget draft laws is a good news”, the President said.

He noted that today the government and the Verkhovna Rada should work out and pass draft legislations aimed at improving the economical development of the state. According to Victor Yushchenko, the main task is to adopt the state budget for the next year.
