Communist faction MPs blocked parliamentary tribune
Protesting against “falsification” of a draft law
Parliament members from the Communist Party faction have blocked the tribune of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, they did it protesting against “falsification” of the draft law “On Introducing Amendments into Draft Law of Ukraine On Introducing Amendments into Some Legislations of Ukraine”.
According to faction member Adam Martyniuk, the draft law “was falsified” when it was prepared for the second reading, and may worsen conditions of paying pensions to the population.
A.Martyniuk stressed the first reading of the draft law did not include these norms at all.
Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn called on the Communist faction to unblock the work of parliament and informed that the second reading of the draft law is postponed.
The Communist faction unblocked the tribune, and the parliament resumed consideration of other draft laws.
