Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetskiy, at request of journalists, sang the first verse of the song with which he is going to greet Ukrainians on the New Year Eve.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the Mayor disclosed to journalists that he will celebrate the New Year together with his family, and has already prepared a greeting for the Ukrainian nation.
Within frames of the greeting, he is going to sign “Ridna Maty Moya” [~My Dear Mother] song, and has already recorded it at Kyiv TRK television.
The Kyiv Mayor noted he considers himself to be an absolutely talented person, and informed that he has a musical education and an absolute pitch.
“On the New Year, I will sing to Ukrainians a song, which with I was born – Ridna Maty Moya”, he said.
