The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has refused to resume consideration of the draft state budget for the year 2009.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, only 222 out of 434 MPs registered in the chamber supported this proposal.
In particular, the move was supported by two lawmakers of the Party of Regions’ faction, 154 – BYuT faction, 46 – OU-PSD, 20 - the Lytvyn’s Bloc, and 0 from the Communist faction.
Before the voting, the Verkhovna Rada refused to adopt the draft state budget-2009 in the first reading. In particular, only 222 out of 434 MPs registered in the chamber supported this proposal.
In particular, one lawmakers of the Party of Regions’ faction, 155 – BYuT faction, 47 – OU-PSD, 19 - the Lytvyn’s Bloc, and 0 from the Communist faction voted for adoption of the draft state budget-2009 in the first reading.
