Verkhovna Rada dismissed Semeniuk-Samsonenko

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has dismissed Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko from the post of State property Fund chief.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 259 out of 431 MPs registered in the chamber voted for it.

Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn said it would be expedient to listen to the report of V.Semeniuk-Samsonenko. At the same time, he pointed out that parliament has many times invited V.Semeniuk-Samsonenko to report in the Verkhovna Rada, but this issue was always postponed. According to him, finally, the parliament decided to consider this issue in absence of V.Semeniuk-Samsonenko.

As UNIAN reported earlier, V.Semeniuk-Samsonenko headed the State Property Fund since April 2005.
