The Cabinet of Ministers is going to propose President Viktor Yushchenko to dismiss five governors.

The Cabinet of Ministers is going to propose President Viktor Yushchenko to dismiss five governors, according to Ukrayinska Pravda.

      The ministers received the draft regulations before the beginning of the session.

      “…Raise the question about expediency of tenure of offices by the heads of Poltavska, Ternopilska, Kharkivska, Khersonska, and Chernihivska regions for their unsatisfactory solution to the problems that block social and economic development in the country,” says the draft regulations.

      Valeriy Asadchev (Ukrayinska Narodna Party) is the Governor of Poltavska Region, Ivan Stoyko (Narodny Soyuz Nasha Ukrayina) – the Governor of Ternopilska Region, Arsen Avakov (Narodny Soyuz Nasha Ukrayina) – the Governor of Kharkivska Region, Borys Silenkov (Narodny Soyuz Nasha Ukrayina) – the Governor of Khersonska Region, Mykola Lavryk (Our Ukraine) – the Governor of Chernihivska.
