This is why it is so important for us to know the level of preparedness of the Ukrainian and Belarusian units for participation in joint rescue operations in the two states and beyond. In case of flood risks, Ukraine could assist in the delivery of humanitarian aid, water pumping equipment, personnel, and everything necessary for effective rescue operations. This is a big plan that we need to fulfill. After all, our main task is to prevent and timely respond to emergencies," Mykola Chechetkin said. The plan of joint action is designed to run until 2020.
