Finance Minister of Ukraine Victor Pynzenyk believes that the “fact of yesterday’s publication” of his letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko concerning the economic situation in the country was a provocation.
The Ukrainian Finance Ministry’s press-service disclosed this to UNIAN.
“I’m not familiar with the publication in the Internet. A Finance Minister usually writes many reports to the government. They are not meant for a public discussion, and are posted at the web site of the Finance Ministry. I assess the yesterday’s publication as a provocation”, V.Pynzenyk said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on January 27 an Internet-media publicized as if a letter of V.Pynzenyk to Yulia Tymoshenko, dated January 6, 2009. The letter indicated that Ukraine is living through the biggest crisis since the year 1994.
