Socialist Party proposes Semeniuk-Samsonenko for post of President

The Socialist Party of Ukraine will propose the candidacy of Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko, ex-chief of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, for the post of President at the nearest presidential election.

SPU leader Oleksander Moroz claimed this at a press conference in Lviv on Monday.

According to him, the candidacy of V.Semeniuk-Samsonenko is not connected with political ratings, but with economics. “She is one of the best economists in Ukraine”, O.Moroz introduced his colleague.

O.Moroz pointed out that Socialists elected her candidacy over a secret voting at a regular party session.
