Poroshenko on COREPER's visa lib decision: Doors to Europe now open
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has called historic the Wednesday's decision of the EU ambassadors to grant Ukrainians a visa-free travel across Europe, adding that the doors to Europe are now open for Ukraine.
"The Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU member states (COREPER) has just approved a historic decision to grant Ukraine a visa-free travel. The doors to Europe are open to Ukraine," Poroshenko said, speaking at the event dedicated to the anniversary of the Chornobyl tragedy with the participation of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
