New Finance Minister may be appointed as early as on Thursday

A new Finance Minister of Ukraine may be appointed as early as on Thursday, if there will be the necessary number of lawmakers in the Verkhovna Rada to pass the decision.

BYuT MP Andriy Kozhemyakin said this commenting to UNIAN.

According to him, as of today, the candidacy for the post has already been determined.

At the same time, A.Kozhemyakin noted he does not believe that the post of Finance Minister may be transferred to somebody of Deputy Prime Ministers. “It’s hardly possible, we have already seen such a variant [in the government of Victor Yanukovych - UNIAN]”, A.Kozhemyakin said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Victor Pinzenyk resigned as Finance Minister of Ukraine on February 12.
