Communists are not waiting for and will not accept any proposals from the Tymoshenko’s government, as they cannot shoulder responsibility for activities of the incumbent authoritiess. However, they are ready to consider the issue of entering other structures of executive power. CPU leader Petro Symonenko said this in an interview with Glavred magazine.

“Communist faction representatives will not enter the government. Communists are the opposition, they cannot shoulder responsibility for activities of the incumbent authorities. The other question is executive power structures”, Symonenko said.

At the same time, the Communist leader noted, the matter does not concern any concrete proposals. However, considering a positive experience of CPU member Mykola Tymoshenko on post of the State Forestry Committee head, CPU would like to gain control over such state enterprises as Ukrautodor [the State Committee for Highways] and Ukrspyrt [the State Alcohol Committee].
