"There are no grounds for that..."

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko calls on politicians not to manipulate “default” word on the eve of the presidential campaign.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to a press conference in the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday.

“I do regret that in this dirty presidential campaign, which, unfortunately, has already been started by Ukrainian politicians, they use the word “default” as an additional instrument of influence upon international financial organizations, rating agencies, to just destroy Ukraine. I want to address all politicians and officials – from bottom to the top – stop manipulating this word. It’s not customary in the world to pronounce this word when there are no grounds for that”, Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the state and all state enterprises are fulfilling their obligations and pay off foreign debts in full.
