On Monday, February 23, ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma was once again interrogated on the Gongadze case by investigators of the Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Holomsha disclosed this to journalists on Wednesday.
“Yes, really, ex-President Leonid Kuchma was interrogated on this case”, he said.
Asked whether he confirmed the information of his former bodyguard Mykola Melnychenko, that he met with the Russian leadership in autumn of 2004, M.Holomsha said: “I would not like to comment on that”.
The deputy Prosecutor also refuted the information that as if L.Kuchma felt unwell during the interrogation.
He also did not say whether they will interrogate L.Kuchma again. “I think, it is up to investigators to decide. It is not published and not commented anywhere”, M.Holomsha said.
