Ex- Finance Minister of Ukraine Victor Pynzenyk said he refused the job due to the non-professional state budget-2009.

He said this in an interview with ICTV television on Sunday.

“Unfortunately, political decisions prevail in Ukraine over professional decisions. And when the state budget-2009 became such a political decision, I faced the choice – either to refuse the post, or to refuse my professional views. I chose the first variant”, the ex-Minister stressed.

Speaking about the situation at the currency market of Ukraine, V.Pynzenyk said: “In my opinion, the key problem is that there is no trust. There is no understanding of actions logic”.

“People do not see what will happen in the country. It stirs up bad expectations of people. There is no confidence in politics. I’m speaking about politics not in the political meaning, but as a logic of actions that must be undertaken in the country”, he said.
