Klimkin in constant contact with France, Germany to brief partners on Russia's deliberate destabilization in Donbas
Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin says he has been constantly informing his counterparts from France and Germany about the deliberate attempts by Russia to destabilize Donbas, according to an UNIAN correspondent reporting from a Klimkin's joint press conference with the chief of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Didier Burkhalter held in Kyiv.
"Today we have particularly focused on the situation in Donbas. We see a real deterioration of the situation with plenty of attacks, and we have a lot of wounded in action, so Russia is now deliberately destabilizing the situation," Klimkin stressed.
"I remain in constant contact with my colleagues, I mean my French and German friends in the "Normandy format." Last night I had a detailed conversation with the France's Foreign Minister [Jean-Yves Le Drian] in order to break this deliberate escalation of the situation on the part of Russia," Klimkin stressed.
