Ukraine intends to join Customs Union with EU – Poroshenko
Ukrainian President states Ukraine intends to join the Customs Union with the EU and integrate into the Schengen zone, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Ukraine's intentions in the long term are to join the Customs Union with the EU, integrate into the Schengen zone, become part of the digital market or energy union is a powerful incentive for the implementation of [the country's] economic and social sectoral and other reforms, as well as for the growth of our joint trade and investment," Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with the EU leaders following the plenary session of the EU-Ukraine summit in Kyiv on Thursday, July 13.

As UNIAN reported, the 19th Ukraine-European Union Summit opened in Kyiv on July 12.
