"Ukraine's intentions in the long term are to join the Customs Union with the EU, integrate into the Schengen zone, become part of the digital market or energy union is a powerful incentive for the implementation of [the country's] economic and social sectoral and other reforms, as well as for the growth of our joint trade and investment," Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with the EU leaders following the plenary session of the EU-Ukraine summit in Kyiv on Thursday, July 13.
