Document No. 196/2017 was signed on July 26, according to the Ukrainian news portal Obozrevatel.

Along with Saakashvili, the decree also lists another seven individuals deprived of Ukrainian citizenship simultaneously.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Presidential Administration of Ukraine confirmed that President Petro Poroshenko had signed a decree to strip Saakashvili of Ukrainian citizenship. Yet, it said, in accordance with the legislation on personal data protection, the executive act could not go public as it contains confidential information. Therefore, it was not posted on the presidential administration's website where other presidential orders are published.
