President to take part in celebrations on occasion of 200th anniversary from birthday of Mykola Gogol

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will pay a working visit to the Poltava Oblast today.

The press service of the head of the state disclosed to UNIAN that the main goal of the visit is participation in celebrations on the occasion of the 200th anniversary from birthday of Mykola Gogol.

It is planned that the President will get acquainted with exposition of museum of M. Gogol after refurbishment in Gogolevo village.

V. Yushchenko will wreath flowers to monument of M. Gogol and will  get acquainted with sculpture alley of heroes of his works in Myrgorod city.

The President will take part in celebrations on the occasion of the 200th anniversary from birthday of Mykola Gogol in Myrgorod city.
