Ukraine to promote further cooperation with Southeast Asian nations – MFA
On August 8, 2017, 10 nations of the Southeast Asia mark a significant milestone – 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said in a statement.
"Throughout the last half a century of multifaceted challenges, ASEAN has demonstrated its resilience and commitment to sustainable development, striving to create an environment of peace and prosperity in one of the world’s most diverse regions," reads the statement.

The progress achieved by ASEAN in promoting peace and prosperity earns the highest praise and well-deserved recognition of its significance for global and regional dimensions, the statement says.
