The government of Ukraine hopes that the work of the International Monetary Fund mission to Ukraine will be fruitful.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, first deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksander Turchynov said this to a Cabinet of Ministers session on Wednesday.

According to him, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko commissioned him to hold the government’s session.

“We resume an active, and, I hope, fruitful collaboration. The anti-crisis measures, which were undertaken by the government, and its persistence in overcoming the crisis, were praised by international financial organizations, and I hope we will receive an international help in this sphere”, O.Turchynov noted.

According to the deputy PM, it is very important to continue the collaboration between the IMF and the central bank of Ukraine in the sphere of stabilizing the national currency. “Besides, it will positively influence the international authority of our state”, he added.
