Tymoshenko needs half a billion dollars to stop gap in state budget

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has been conducting negotiations with the World Bank on a U.S. $ 0.5 billion loan to cover the state budget deficit.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, deputy Finance Minister of Ukraine Andriy Kravets said this to journalists on Wednesday.

According to him, the rest of the deficit is covered at the expense of other sources, in particular, internal loans.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the direct and indirect deficit of budget-2009 makes 7.5 – 8% of GDP. President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko claimed this on Wednesday at a session for building branch issues.
