Political scientists do not rule out that the Party of Regions and the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko may try for the last time to form a mega-coalition in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and to agree about joint activities to overcome the political and economical crisis in Ukraine.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, political experts expressed this opinion during a roundtable in Kyiv on Wednesday.
“If the Party of Regions and BYuT come to an agreement, unite, and create a coalition, it will be a correct answer to the challenges that Ukraine is facing today”, political scientist Ihor Zhdanov said. At the same time, he noted, that if these political forces will yield to the provocation of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko concerning the Constitution and elections, the situation in the country will develop towards unpredictable way, and the distrust to politicians will grow.
In his turn, political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko said: “I do not rule out that the recent statements voiced by Party of Regions representatives may indicate their last attempt to come to an agreement with BYuT”.
Political scientist Anatoliy Lutsenko agreed with opinions of his colleagues, and added to such a coalition would be the best way to stabilize the political situation in Ukraine.
