The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not put on its daily agenda the draft laws necessary for collaboration with the International Monetary Fund.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, in particular, lawmakers refused to consider the following draft laws: “On Introducing Amendments into the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget for the Year 2009”, “On Introducing Amendments into Some Laws of Ukraine Concerning Pensions”, “On Introducing Amendments into the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance”.

The factions of BYuT and the Lytvyn’s Bloc voted for putting these draft laws on the daily agenda, while the OU-PSD faction voted only partly, thus lawmakers lacked votes to pass the decision.
