Lytvyn says BYuT put forward “absurd demands"

The evening session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has been closed ahead of schedule (on Thursday, in line with regulations, the parliament works till 18.00).

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Verkhovna Rada Speaker V Lytvyn noted that he closed the session because the BYuT faction blocked the rostrum and put forward “absurd demands”.

Before closing the session, V.Lytvyn said: either BYuT stops the blocking, or he closes the session.

V.Lytvyn stressed: “Nobody will work under pressure”.

“You perfectly understand: you receive an order – and jump here, and block the rostrum on every occasion. You even don’t know why you block it”, the Speaker said.

V.Lytvyn addressed the lawmakers who blocked the rostrum: “Of you want a new coalition, want to dissolve the parliament, so do it, but nobody will endure your mockery”.
