Six-eight political forces may enter the new Ukrainian parliament.

These are the results of a monitoring carried out by the Committee of Voters of Ukraine (CVU) and publicized at a press conference in UNIAN by CVU chairman Oleksander Chernenko and his deputy Vitaliy Teslenko.

“All political forces have kicked off preparations to the big elections season. As of today, nearly 10 political structures have been busy with an active work: visits of leaders to regions, work with mass media, formation of electoral headquarters. If a regular parliamentary election takes place during a year, 6-8 political parties and blocs have chances to enter the parliament even under the existing electoral system. In case if the system of “open lists” is introduced, the staff of already existing political forces will be renewed”, O.Chernenko said.

According to him, electors expect for appearance of new political forces. “However, new political forces have not got yet stable allies, thus, they should focus on building branchy networks and bringing their ideas directly to the elector”, he said.

In his turn, V.Teslenko added that, according to an experts poll, the most well-structured and rating political forces are the Party of Regions and the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko. “The building of Arseniy Yatseniuk’s political force “Front of Changes” started only in 2009 and is currently in an active stage. The process of creating this force is the most dynamic compared to all the other political projects. In particular, the political project of ex-Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko is not ready to elections as yet”, he noted.
