Instead of a scheduled 45 minutes meeting, the talks behind closed doors between Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan lasted for three hours, according to presidential press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko.

The spokesman also noted that the Turkish president was accompanied by a large delegation.

"Today, nine bilateral documents will be signed, including on protection of investments and avoidance of double taxation," he said.

Tsegolko asserts that Turkey is among the five largest trade partners of Ukraine.
