The drunken incident with Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko will become a “hot topic” in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the next plenary week (on May 12-15).
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn said this to journalists on Friday.
At the same time, he stressed that the parliament should receive an official information, and make conclusions only basing on it, if any lawmakers and factions insist.
V.Lytvyn added he will propose the parliament to hold consultations on staff issues on May 12, during 14.00 – 16.00. According to him, it will be necessary “to avoid disruption of the Verkhovna Rada’s work”.
V.Lytvyn stressed that the next week the parliament is due to consider over 100 issues.
