Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn is ready to become a guarantor in the talks and agreements between the Party of Regions and the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko.
He said this during “Freedom of Speech” program at Inter television on Monday evening.
According to V.Lytvyn, a significant number of people in both the teams would like to avoid a sole victory of their leaders at the presidential election. “This is an absolute truth. Because they know the attitude that will appear not only to the country but also to today’s allies”, he noted.
In his opinion, “the Party of Regions and BYuT must be forced to join their forces and work for the sake of country together”. He added that we should not give an “absolute power” to none of the leaders, because it will cause tragic consequences for the country. According to him, there will be another split in the country.
