Savchenko makes another controversial statement about Donbas war
Ukrainian MP Nadiia Savchenko has commented on her controversial statement at Poznan University (Poland) about the war in Donbas, saying that the conflict was started by politicians, not the state of Ukraine.
"It's not Ukraine that started the war. Politicians start wars and politicians end them... I said that those politicians who had not started the war could end it. That's because those who started it - Putin and Poroshenko - will not be able to end it," Savchenko told 112 Ukraine TV channel.
She also believes that the war in Donbas will end only if both or one of these politicians is replaced.
"Since when has Mr. Poroshenko become Ukraine? These are two different things. Ukraine did not start the war. Russia began the war, more precisely Putin along with Poroshenko," she said.
