The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider constitutional amendments proposed by President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko the next plenary week.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn claimed this during a session of the Conciliatory Council of parliament on Wednesday.

In particular, according to V.Lytvyn, the session discussed the President’s address to parliament with request to speed up consideration of amendments to the Constitution, which he had developed.

“We will consider this draft law next plenary week”, V.Lytvyn noted.
